Learning another language is fun
in a Kids Like Languages class!

School is out for the afternoon, but you would never know it by the delightful sounds of children coming from inside the Kids Like Languages classroom.

A child’s introduction to another language will broaden their understanding of another culture, open them to the diversity of their world, and begin preparing them for Oregon high school graduation language requirements.

Kids Like Languages offers introductory language classes to elementary and middle school-aged children throughout the metropolitan area of Portland, Oregon. It is now in its 15th year.

We teach the languages requested by schools and parents. Our most requested language is Spanish. We also have classes in French, Mandarin, Japanese, Italian, German, ASL (American Sign Language) and other languages upon request.

During the 2010-2011 school year, Kids Like Languages taught 120 classes in 45 schools to 2500 students throughout Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. We also provided private tutoring in 10 groups.
